
To turn the formatting back on, go to the EndNote tab in Word and select "Update Citations and Bibliography". Note: If the in-text citations are showing up in braces like this,, this means the formatting is turned off in EndNote. If you see gaps between your numbers, you may need to remove an extra space.

If the style is selected and the in-text citations still do not appear correctly, you may need to edit your output style in EndNote.
